I HAVE NO CENTRAL LOCKING ON MY CAR. I ALSO HAVE NO SORT OF ALARM OR INDICATOR. VAG COM SAYS IT IS UNABLE TO CONNECT TO CCM. ANY SUGGESTIONS. I WOULD THINK IT WOULD BE THE VACCUM PUMP BUT I HEAR NOTHING WHEN I HIT THE LOCK BUTTOM AND ALSO THERE IS NOTHING ALARM WISE, NO HORN NO FLASHING LIGHTS. I ALSO HAVE NO RESPONSE FROM MY REMOTE EITHER. ANY IDEAS?

Well, you can't connect to the CCM, everything that isn't working is coming from there. Perhaps that is where to start? It is behind the wheel well on the right side of the trunk, and they can get wet. BTW no need to shout.

Sorry for shouting. I thought the CCM was located under the drivers feet,left foot area?

Darn mobiles. I thought the ccm was located under the drivers foot area? I just want to make sure info digging in the right place.

Mine is behind the wheel well, just pull the trunk linear out (I find it helps to pull the mat first), you will find the module tucked into a foam block right down next to the frame. The air vent that is under the rear bumper is right next to it, which is how it can get wet (although they can just fail).
