Default Please Help - Audi A4 1.8T

Hello, I will be grateful if someone who understands Audi electrics well as my car has been out of order for a year. I had a post I made last year about the engine change on vwvortex – was replacing my 1.9 TDI with a 1.8 T AEB engine. I got the 1.8T with everything incl cluster axle ecu etc but something called the “immobilizer control module” was missing. The cluster that came with it has blue/yellow plugs (26 pin) and my electrician says that this model has a separate immo box (no integrated to cluster). So I took the ECU to a programmer to get the immo off, tried it on my car but still does not work.. Just to make sure the programmer successfully removed the immo from ECU, I tried it on my father in law A6 year 98 (also has AEB engine) and it worked!
One thing that bothers me is that, a while ago, my mechanic put the ECU in and car was not starting, so after a few minutes fiddling with wires and the engine started, it stayed on for a few minutes but he shut it off as radiator tubes were not connected – when I asked what made the car start he told me that he had to connect the transponder wire and use the key that came with the engine. But now this also does not work anymore.
If someone could give advice whether the followings could make it start:

(a) Getting a cluster that has a immo control module built in
(b) Getting an Immo control module box on ebay
Other advices are most welcome. Thanks
