possible problem... suspension "chirping" when I hit bumps.... anyone else?
When I run over a manhole cover (or hit any other small bumps in the street) the rear suspension seems to "chirp." It's like a high-pitched chirp, and it doesn't do it all the time. Also if I get out of the car, and push (yes, carefully 
down on the body of the car above rear wheels, it will *sometimes* groan like a low pitched squeak that sounds like it's coming from the shock/spring/something down there.
Think these noises are related? Is either normal? Every single car I've ever driven has creaked like that when I've pushed down on the car, but then again, every car I've driven until this one has been a LOT older and basically a POS....
BTW, car is an 01.5 with 6K miles on it. So it's not too old, but is definatly had a chance to break in and for problems to pop up...

my car does it 2 everytime i drive it i get to listen to squeeks from suspension.turning slow creaks
dealer had car for 2 days and changed one control arm but that did not fix problem, now they make me wait a month later to bring car back.

no, it is not normal.. I have a possible fix ---- this is what I HAD to do with my Intrax/Konis
I used almost a full can of White Lithium Grease
on the Springs, and any suspension joint that
moved. All sounds went away.. and believe me..
it was REALLY bad until I did the white grease
thing.
I never had any problem with suspension sounds
with the OEM Non-Sport suspension.. the suspension
squeaks reared its' ugly head when I had the Intrax/Konis installed.
A few other people with modded suspensions have
said they have the same problem - so I assume it's
not specific to my suspension/wheel setup.

I have the same problem...
Someone posted possible diagnosis. Try going over the bumps while braking slightly. If you don't hear the sqeek, it could be that it is a brake thing. I cannot remember the exact problem but I know if it didn't sqeek it is something with the brakes. You might try and find that post.

I sprayed any joints.. also, make sure you get the top of the shock + spring setup..
so get the can of white grease with the plastic
nozzle thingy you attach to it.. you will need
that to get grease up into the top of the shock/spring setup..
ps: I think that's where my suspension noise
was coming from, but I can't say definitively b/c
