What model number should I order? According to the FAQ section, it should be #33-2675. However, according to the K&N rep I spoke with, #33-2125 is the best one (although there is still no 'official' model for the A4).<p>I have a '99 1.8Tqms. Appreciate your input.<br>

Quote "33-2675 is correct part number for the '96 & '97 model A4. The 33-2125 is only for the 98 & 99 models." This was taken from the FAQ, I called K&N and they told me that their official filter for the A4 was the 33-2125 but the difference between that filter and the 33-2675 is only 1/8 of an inch one way and 1/16 the other way. My guess is that since the 33-2125 is new, people who have bought the older filter (33-2675) should not worry about the fit, this is why I think the FAQ says that it is the right model for the 96 & 97, but I still think that no matter the model year the 33-2125 is the one to get. Unfortunately I found that too late and bought the 33-2675 but I do not have any problem.<p>Pierre <br>98.5 1.8TQ

Ordered my K&N through Inparts. They called K&N and verified fitment (K&N now lists the 33-2125 as the "official" 1.8T filter). I received w/in two days ($48.00) and installed w/no problems.
