Received Achtuning 17" RS4 wheels- mixed emotions- need advice. (BWW)
<center><img src="http://www.zweier.com/audi/rs4/wheel1.jpg"></center><p>I received the wheels I purchased as part of the group buy today. Everything was packaged very well and they didn't forget my OEM center caps or lug bolts.
Here is my problem, all four of the wheels have slight cosmetic imperfections. It is obvious they were not the result of shipping damage, but something that came from the "factory". Now many of you may say that I am being too **** about it, but when you spend a significant amount of money on wheels and you are told that Achtuning is of higher quality than AAARims, Wheel Exchange, Hartmann, and eBay, I expect a superior product.
As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words:
<b>1) All wheels are full of these "pits" in the paint:</b>
<img src="http://www.zweier.com/audi/rs4/wheel1_damage.jpg">
<img src="http://www.zweier.com/audi/rs4/wheel1_damage1.jpg">
<b>2) There is some discoloration in the paint on one of the wheels:</b>
<img src="http://www.zweier.com/audi/rs4/wheel2_damage.jpg">
<b>3) Two of the wheels have actual cracks in the paint:</b>
<img src="http://www.zweier.com/audi/rs4/wheel3_damage.jpg">
<img src="http://www.zweier.com/audi/rs4/wheel4_damage.jpg">
<b>4) One wheels looks as though someone spilled soda on it wheel packing it:</b>
<img src="http://www.zweier.com/audi/rs4/wheel3_soda.jpg">
<b>5) ALL the wheels are stamped with this which makes me wonder:</b>
<img src="http://www.zweier.com/audi/rs4/hartmann.jpg">
So my questions to you as fellow A4 members are:
1. Is this acceptable damage?
2. Why are the wheels stamped as Hartmann?
3. What would do in my position?
Josh, if you get to read this, I would obviously like to hear from you as well.
Thanks.

Blems maybe? Call and ask them. You are a paying customer.
Don't be rude, just tell them what you see on the wheels and ask if all the wheels are like that? I'm sure they'll give you a straight answer.

Mine are scheduled for delivery tomorrow.. all I have to say is, if they look like that, they are...
going back. That is not good looking. My 60,000 mile stock wheels look better than that. Josh, I hope there is a good explanation for this.
