Default Rubbing Sound

Hi all, I just heard a really loud ping like a bolt snapping come from my left rear area as I was backing out of my steep driveway. I got out to see if the coil spring was broken, but it was fine. Checked all the control arm and sway bars, all in one piece. Car drives like normal but I now hear this rubbing sound like metal on metal whenever I go up approach or co over a bump. What am I dealing with here?

Perhaps, jack the back end up? Inspect it properly, spin your tires, listen for anything out of the ordinary. Could be something to do with your rear caliper/brakes, you probably wouldn't notice anything since your front brakes do most of the work.

Nothing happened with the brakes or spinning the wheels. I only heard it when I let the car back down.
