Default A slight shudder

So I have noticed a couple of times with my 2000 A4 1.8t that some times when I take off or even come to stop from a good speed some what fast that my car will sometimes have a little shudder to it from the front. I don't really know how to describe it other then that. Now it never really happens when I press the gas so that it picks up good. It happens when I just kinda lightly press the gas to just slowly move. Its kinda hard to describe it. Its like a little shake (or like a little hiccup) kinda and then it will go. Any ideas on what could be causing it?

start looking for vacuum leaks, check the vacuum hoses and the crankcase vent hose. I recently found the crankcase vent hose had gone hard and brittle and was leaking just a little at the seal. The crankcase hose goes into a PCV valve that had failed.

it took me ages to find because the leak was small. I ended up building a cap to go over the intake and pressurised the system with compressed air (at low pressure (10, 15 then 20psi) to identify the leak around the crankcase vent hose.

Do you have access to a scan for codes?
