Strange phenomna with my lack of a gas cap for 5 days...
My dumbass left it on the pump last Thursday. Drove every day this weekend and back and forth from work the past two days. And NO check engine light wielded it's ugly little head. Yet when I don't tighten it enough, I always see the light. What gives?
I got a new one today for $6 when I ordered my new heat shield for my 97 oil line. The line itself is next but I didn't have $75 on me at the time.
Also had the APR exhaust installed this morning. Only comment right now is it's TOO QUIET. More to come in a few days...<p>Cy...Pearl '97 1.8TQMS, APRv3.1, UUC, Neuspeed, H&R Sport, Bilstein, AEZ Bimos, AVS Sports, ATE Powerdisc, Mintex, Valvoline SynPower, Mobil 1, Autometer, K&N, Air Box Mod, Aluminum Trim...65K and counting.
