Default What is the normal engine oil temp for an Audi A4

Is it around 200 degrees, or is it a little more than that? Also, is the car very smooth or is it very smooth.

Default Outside temperature has a big factor (more)

My 2.8q Tip runs between 210 to 240 degrees. When the outside temp is around zero I register at 210. When the outside temp hits 90+ degrees I have seen the needle push toward 250. I always "feather" the acclerator until my oil temp reaches 200 or more. A full warm up take about 6 miles<p>Roy M
