Default Where can I hide the plastic key on the car?

Did a search and no one tells where. Do you need to join a secret society promising in blood not to divulge the secret?

I want someplace where you don't have to crawl under the car in rain or snow...and no, I don't need anything else in my wallet.

Default you will only make it easier for a thief to get inside. if its accessible to you, its accessible to

them.

give the key to a significant other who can bring it to you if you actually need it.

Default I've heard someone puts the key inside the license plate lamp cover.

Not on an Audi though.

All you need is a screw driver to gain access to the key.

Default might not work on audi but

on my old camry i hid a key in the trunk, then took a spare key and cut off the "handle" and jammed it in the trunk keyhole so it was recessed. then i just needed a penny to get into my trunk and to the key.

Default How about on your key ring?

No, not (just) a smarta$$ answer. I keep my house keys separate from my car key and I put the spare plastic key with the house keys. I've had it there for 6 years without loss.
