Is A/C on or off?
is it hot and smelly? or cool and odorless?
Hot and Smelly=coolant, get it fixed before the heater core takes a big dump.
In my last car, this happened to me on the highway. The scalding hot steam was only half the problem, the other half was the inside of the windshield was completely obscured. That was almost the worst thing that happened to me in that car.
AC on and "Cool and odorless"- it's just condensation from when the compressor kicks off, completely normal.
