Default 1.9 TDi Engine Shake/Judder

Im new here, this is my 3rd thread, hello

I have a 2004 A4 B6 130ps 1.9 tdi.

My engine shakes/judders at idle !

It really bothers me sometimes. Its been serviced recently, had a new thermostat and coolant temp sensor, and it starts on the button.

It drives fine, there are no problems.

Only at idle, i have a slight judder.

I believe there will be lots of us out there who have this problem as it is quite common.

I have been reading and i believe it may have something to do with the timing adjustment?

My timing belt was replaced by KwikFit in Glasgow a couple of years ago before i owned the car at 90k miles. My car is now at 105k miles. Could the timing have slipped fractionally on replacement of the belt, or even afterwards?

I know that you can hook up to VAGCOM to read the timing values?? and this will determine if it needs adjusting - in which case you attach a socket onto the cam and give it a tug to adjust.

What are the timing values supposed to be ?
How do i determine if it is this and not something else?

Is there anyone in the Leeds, West Yorkshire area who has VAGCOM and can read these timing values for me ?

I have an OBD2 code reader and using the app on my phone, i have a Timing advance figures of 60 degrees.

Is this correct?

Any light shed on this matter would be most appreciated. Thank you
