lol nobody know? i couldnt figure out how to disengage the gearbox from the engine. i remove all the bolts around the bell housing and the box only slide out about 5cm then stuck. is this 01J gear box got bolts which hold the torque convertor to the flywheel like normal auto gear box?

Curious, around here these are a rare bird. How did the trans and engine separate. Just a splined shaft into the crankshaft right?

yeah, it just a splined shaft into the crankshaft I dont think i can repair this gearbox lol look like the noise comes from the front differential, lots of play on the bearing need lots of special tools to pull it apart and put it back, plus the parts kit and update the software TCU to 7 clutches. OMG Maybe better get a secondhand gearbox

I'm just reading up on these myself, as I was considering getting an 03/v6/CVT... sounds like its not a very good trans.

Default How it Works and YouTube videos access

Here is a video of how the CVT works, it does not have a torque converter, but a continuously variable clutch and gear train...
