Hi All,

I'm looking for a bit of advice. Our B6 A4 needs an engine rebuild. An oil leak onto the timing belt made it break, and the head is destroyed. Need new valves, cams, pistons, etc. Bottom half of the block is ok.

The mechanic is looking around for new Audi parts, but I was wondering if anyone knows of a reputable place to order rebuilt engines or heads. It would be really cool if it was local to RI/CT/MA, but online is great too.

I'm reluctant to pull one from the junkyard, since you never know the condition or how it's been treated, but haven't had much luck googling around for a source of rebuilt engines - too many spam sites for car parts.
