well...
to be honest with you, when I did my t-belt, I spread the work over a whole long weekend (2.5 days) but in my defence, it was the first time I ever laid a wrench on my car (except for little things like exhaust and intake)!!! (I figured if I could do a t-belt, I could do just about anything!!!).

Hey, when your warranty is long gone, what's the worst thing that can happen, right?

There are more steps involved but the basic belt replacement/water pump etc
are the same as the 1.8t.
Yes, the 3.0 takes longer but next time you do it you'll me amazed how much less time it takes, (or at least it does for me).
