03 1.8t cvt 225,000 miles, runs good. I will purchase a a3 sedan soon but keeping the 03 A4 since it is in good shape. Maybe drive the a4 to work daily and use a3 on weekends for enjoyment.

2003 Dolphin Grey 1.8T Quattro 5 SP Manual with Sport and Premium packages bought in March of this year (2014) with 110K Miles on it. It is my first Audi and first used car in over 25 years. I knew there would be maintenance needed, and I was actually excited to do it myself.
In May I did the timing belt (Gate Kevlar racing belt), Water pump, tensioner and wheels for T-belt and serpentine. Did coolant overflow, coolant flange, flat top PCV, valve cover gasket, intake gasket (replaced with cool compound gasket), K&N panel filter, urethane snub mount, 034 motor mounts, 710N diverter valve, spark plugs, magnetic drain plug, Mann XL filter, Pentosin ultra 5w-40, and pentosin G12 coolant, Dice CD Changer redirect for iPhone/MP3 player, and replaced antenna amplifier with standard antenna window version for am/fm reception that was shot.
I am 53 years young and have not worked on a car (other than oil changes and stuff) for 30+ years and it took me four days and nights to do the work at home with a used Bentley manual, Ross-Tech Vag-com, rhino ramps, jack stands, 24 Coke Zero's, a dozen neighbor's wandering by checking in on me and my deconstructed auto, and by late Monday a month ago I fired it back up and it came back to life.
It has been an absolute pleasure to drive and although quite nervous, it was a real adrenaline rush to take apart the whole front end, and most of the top end, and put it all back together again. I could not have done it without all of the helpful posts, videos, diagrams, hints, and warnings from the members on here and Audizine.
I am only getting 19 MPG but I has an issue with the waste gate inside the K03 turbo rattling a bit. I was told it had loose welds. So now I have my sights set on buying a K04 and Maestro Stage 2 with 550cc injectors (if I have to do the work, might as well as really do it up...).

2003 3.0 quattro 6mt: bought it with 158,XXX miles, now has 163,XXX miles. I did the valve cover gaskets, full timing belt and water pump kit, a couple control arms in the front, new transmission fluid, and some other little things. Runs great now.
2003 1.8t quattro 5mt, factory sport suspension: bought at 70,300 miles, currently at 192,XXX. This car is an absolute pleasure to drive. It has been regularly maintained and has been serving my parents well for the past 10 years. Nothing unusual, control arms here and there, exhaust was replaced around 130,000. The catalytic converter has been throwing a code for quite a while, and the original clutch is showing signs that it is ready for retirement. There is some rust on the body as well, so this one is next in line for an overhaul.
