Default car shudders at low rpm while accelerating

I searched the forum, just find limited information about my issue. When the car is moving and engine is running between 1500rpm to 2000rpm the car begins to shudder(jerk) as soon as I begin to accelerate. its only happen while acceleration. above 2000 rpm its running perfect fine.I noticed the speedometer of engine speed pointer continously jumped a little(3 degree to up and down) when i use cruise control to fix the speed from 30 to 60km/h. At idle the engine runs smooth with no signs of hesitation or roughness whether the car is at park, neutral or (D) positon. From a stop position and I continously accelerate even up to 60mph the car runs fine with no jerkiness of any sort. No sign of warning light on speedometer. I used VAG cable to scan the car, cant find related information of my jerk issue. Need your expertise/advice for those who have had similar problem or know of one. How was it solved? What is causing this problem. Thanks

This is exactly what I have been dealing with in my 2002 audi a4 over the past year. The shudder kept getting worse until I finally brought it into a repair shop back in June. I paid 800 dollars for them to change the transmission fluid. This seemed to almost eliminate the problem, but has just recently started to come back again. I'm a poor college student and figure that I'll just keep on driving with it as long as i can.. i'm tired of throwing money into this problem.

Also note on mine that the car shutter and RPM flutter seem to be worse after the engine warms up.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Default shutter

try checking the axles, specially the right front
we see a lot of axle's inner joint failure in this cars from 2002 on
you can tell by driving it or checking play in the shaft

Would the front axles cause this problem? I read on another site that the TCM needs balancing???

Its a consistent jerk when accelerating between 1500 & 2000rpm even when in tiptronic. When the car gets over 2000rpm it drives fine.

how can you balance a tcm?
Transmission Control Module = TCM
it will vibrate due to a failing axle as long as you are accelerating, but once it gained enough speed it no longer requires as much torque
try this in an uphill and you'll see how bad it will get

I have a similar issue but mine does it at all rpm. Also, I have a 6 speed so it's not the transmission. If anyone finds any insight please post it
