Okay, so I search the site for what the heck this Error 2 means, and find out that there is a stereo manual (which I don't have for some reason) and it means the CD is scratched. So this gives rise to two questions: (besides where is my manual?)

1) Why am I getting this message on brand-new, store bought CDs?

2) Is there a way to clean the CD player (using one of those CD cleaner disks)

Do I need to take this in to the Dealer?? (okay so this is 3 questions)

i got that error once and realized that i popped the DVD version of the cd into the changer

if u are under warranty take it to the dealer, don't try to clean it urself or u will void warranty

So why is it a warning you ask?
Well, for 1, the code that you have for the security code won't be the same and I seen plenty of cases where ooops, they forgot to give you the new code.

2) the player and changes goes out so if you have any cds in it... there goes the cds. I am sure you they can ship them back to you but that's still a pain.

That error messages happens every so often. Most of the time I just eject the cd and put it back in. Only gotten it twice thus far in 2 and 1/2 years.

If they do have to replace the stereo they'll ship your CDs back to you. It took a while to get mine though.
