Default Does the seat back repair kit (PN 8E0898035) come with one or both clips?

As shown in the link below, does it come with both? Or should I order two to fix both while I'm in there?

The kit repairs one seat. It should be two.

Hah, no problem. Too bad everyone's seats are falling apart though!

FYI...looks like GAP has the best price. I called the local VW dealer and they wanted $44+tax...

Default I bought the kit about a month ago. Comes with 2 clips. Dealer charged me about $53.

Very easy repair to do yourself. Before I saw the writeup on how to do it yourself, I asked my dealer how much it would cost for him to do it. He quoted me a price of well over 100 bucks!

Default Be aware that if your seatback is broken the probable cause is a broken lower lumbar.

You might want to fix that at the same time.

Default It's pretty obvious. Look at your seatback, remove the old clips and pop the new ones in.

Here's a link to the tutorial:

Default I felt the left side go while I was accelerating from a stop light. My back started hurting ...

whenever I would drive the car. That is, until the right side broke too. Now it's just slightly uncomfortable, but no backache.

I've got everything I need to fix it. I should finish that up tonight.

Default must be all the power from s/c, the weak stock seats can't handle it.

which brings me to a gripe about audi and the sports package. why can't we get real seats like on a BMW or euro spec Audi?

Default lol, I was going to make a post about how my s/c broke my seat, but the truth is that part is so...

weak that it snaps on everybody's seat.
