Default DTC 16825? Any Help

Hey Guys, Loyal follower of this forum. Fortunately for me i haven't had to visit in over a year as my car has been running great (Knock on wood). The other day i got the dreaded Check Engine Light. Ran my VAG-Com and got the following error:

VCDS-Lite Version: Release 1.1
Saturday, 16 April 2016, 20:03:15:33245
Control Module Part Number: 8E0 909 518 AK
Component and/or Version: 1.8L R4/5VT G 0006
Software Coding: 0016751
Work Shop Code: WSC 22130

1 Fault Found:
16825 - EVAP Emission Control Sys: Incorrect Flow
P0441 - 002 - Lower Limit Exceeded

Did the usual thread and online searches. Basically narrowed it down to this:
Purge Valve

My question is, should i be looking for something else? Nothing else really came up outside of this? Any other input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Default

A vacuum leak will give you the same error.
I chased one on a 2.0 litre for ages, and was just about to do the purge valve when I had to do some other work and found a split in crankcase hose from the valve cover to the inlet. Could not see it till I pulled the hose off. I would be checking the hoses and the vacuum hoses first as the purge valve is expensive.

Default okay back to the drawing board...

Changed the Purge Valve sensor (the one located on top by the air vent inlet). Code came back,
any ideas of what else i should be checking?

Did a vacuum Leak the old fashion way by basically spraying break cleaner anywhere there were hoses with air valves
to see if there was any change in RPM's/ Idle or to see if any air was sprayed , but nothing?

Hate to really be dumping on parts to figure this out...
