Can some1 explain why I have to remove the bumper ? The snub mount is behind the radiator support and front of engine.
By removing the bumper how will I gain access to it? Do I have to remove the bumper cover which is the outside plastic, and the radiator support , which holds the radiator and fans ? For some reason I cannot see any of the pictures. I have the v6 04 . I was able to I'm bolt the mount from motor and the radiator but cannot pull them out . No room.

There is another thread on this subject, but I if my memory is correct, you can swap the snub without removing the front clip. there isn't enough clearance. You can only adjust it. Below is a llink on how to remove the bumper cap then the front clip.

I did . Removed bumper cover, bumper support loose, then mount came out.
