This is driving me nuts. Every time the my wife's B6 3.0L sits outside in heavy rain as it did yesterday, start it up, CEL stays on. MIL On points to the coolant temp sensor. I'll also get a bunch of intermittent fuel codes on Bank 1 or 2. This varies each time, yesterday was Bank 2.

I've replaced the temp sensor and checked the wiring. Can't find anything worn and there is no 'moisture' visible. This code will not go away on its own. I have to clear it. Once cleared, it stays off until the next rain event? Something has to be getting wet, but darned if I can tell where.

I would make sure your ECU is not sitting in water. Those codes are not the ones I have seen show up in this situation, but would start there.
