Does anyone know where I can get a new or used, oem or aftermarket catalytic converter for an 03 A4 Quattro V6 for relatively cheap price? I've been to shops and been quoted $800-$1200 to do the job but I'm not looking to spend that much if I could just do it myself?

Find a small junkyard with "flexible" management. Cut one out of a wreck. I think it's illegal for them to sell you one, but that's where the flexible part comes in.
