overboost driving me nutz??
03 a4, new rebuild with 800 miles. K04, complete turbo back exhaust, intercooler, 382cc injectors Revo tune (which I am not all that thrilled about) etc...
ok so for the first 800 miles this car ran great, except a little stumble when the car was cold which I think is from the tune or injectors, but not all that familiar with the revo.
last week I was going from totally no boost to overboost, finally found the wastegate had come apart at the bushing and was sticking open, and every now and then would go closed.
so I repaired the wastegate only now It overboosts all the time, anything near or over 1/2 throttle and I get no codes at all with Vag, not even overboost, but my gauge pegs at over 25 or 30
swapped N75's , new diverter, checked for leaks etc. and wastegate seems to work now???
