i'm told our a4's can't be stolen without the actual key...if this is true why are some a4's stolen.

Default b5 is an easy take, i'm thinking the only way to nab a b6...

is a flatbed, or a replica key if those even exist for a car like ours.
Anyone heard of a b6 getting stolen?

Default No, there IS a work around.

However, I won't discuss it either.
Also, late B5's did have immobilizer.

Do you need SKC code to do it? I don't want to know more than that.

Default yeah but I worry about someone not knowing this...

fact, breaking in, trying to steal it, getting pissed and thrashing my entire car, i'd rather have them take it.

Most likely all you'll have to deal with is a smashed window and f'ed up ignition
