STUMPED! Mass Air Flow Sensor Issue
- 2004 1.8T
-Car stalled ran very rough so I unplugged mass air flow senor and it ran, but somewhat rough.
- put in a new sensor, but still work
- Put in a new O2 Sensor on the intake, but ran a little better, but still rough.
- new bypass valve for the turbo
- Plug the connector back on to the air flow sensor and car stalls out within seconds. Unplug it and it runs again.
- Gas mileage sucks.
Could it be a bad connection on the wire housing connector itself? Should I try new wires? Any other thoughts. Code comes up as mass air flow sensor. Thank You.
