Surviving B6ers!... Whats Your Odo??......
Getting my Smog test to finally pass recently just made me more astonished how my B6 is still ticking,,,,(12 years old and Approximately 221,489.07 miles on my Odometer) right now.
Still Original Engine ,Clutch/transmission, Went through 3 timing belt change, and 2 Turbos.....Only used synthetic oil.
It outlived my 2003 Taurus which Transmission Blew up at 154K....
Wondering How many miles other owners ...still manage to keep their B6 running?.....

First A4 (02 1.8t sport manual) had 208,000 on it before it was backed into and totaled by a 4x4 diesel. Current one (03 1.8t sport manual) has 112,000. Out looking for an S5 for myself.

2005 a4 quattro 1.8T auto - 138k
2004 a4 quattro 1.8T auto - 166k
2001 a4 quattro 1.8T auto - 177k
2000 a4 quattro 1.8T auto - 193k
2000 a6 quattro 2.8 auto - 156k
I've done more work/maintenance on my b6's alone in the past year, than all of the cars combined that I've ever owned in my lifetime! But I love em, and wouldn't dream of driving anything else

02 3.0L with 152k. I got it almost brand new 12 years ago (5000 miles) and did one timing built. Still has the original transmission but the torque converter keeps playing with me every now and then. The only thing that I suffered with, was finding a good Audi mechanic in my area.

2005 Quattro 1.8t with 118k miles on it; i've done the timing belt once, and got the car chipped with 17 psi about 40k miles ago. Original transmission and turbo. Looking forward to many more years with this car!

Currently at 141k miles. I got the oil pressure light in 2009 and performed the oil de-sludge work myself. That was at around 60k miles. Since then, I've replaced the timing belt and water pump at around 90k miles to ease my worries. It still has the original turbo and clutch. It's getting close to needing a new clutch. I will be handing this down to my daughter now that I've picked up a used 2007 A8.

Hey all! First time poster with an 02 A4 3.0L Quatro! Just rolled up to 217K miles the other day. I bought it with 213K on her, and finally got it to pass emissions test (failing aftermarket cat converters) just today! YES!!
Now have a little more time to get this thing in good running order and am legal to drive it! LOL Heres a pic I took when I brought her home…
