Help pls. Car won't start and garage say they need to strip it down to check why. ECU box sent off to test as it was flooded with rainwater. Came back fine, thats not the problem. Looking to get an auto electrician to check but not covered on insurance. Anyone had this problem before where car is completely dead. no electrics, won't start, no fault codes, nothing?! Thx

How did the car get so wet? I assume you have tested for voltage at the battery?

Typically, clogged drains in the cowl area. Pretty common if you car is kept outside under foliage. I tried to find the exact locations, but I believe there is one under the ECU, one under the battery, and one under the cabin filter, but not completely sure.

Start by replacing the ECU power control relay (219) located underneath the ECU.
