Weird behaviour while driving, RPM up/down

Was your car in gear while this video was shot?
If so, there's no possible explanation other than the clutch slip - the RPMs can't change respective to ground speed unless the clutch is slipping, and seeing the RPMs jump that much, that quickly, in 6th gear? Impossible unless the clutch is slipping.
