Default Weird Problem with my two front doors

When I lock my car with the FOB or just the key and I try to open them with either, the doors don't open unless I give a light tap right above the door handle and then it opens OK. Of course if I do not lock the doors, they open just fine

Mine is 2002 A4

Any help will be greatly appreciated

The door locks are electronic, they have 3 micro switches inside.
You can pull them apart, sounds like one might be 'gunked up' (technical term!).
They are a bit of an effort to remove from the car door, but this needs to be done on a bench, not in the car.
Also check the solder joints, there have been issues with VW ones (which are essentially the same) with some dry joints on the micro switch solder connections.
New locks are available, but not cheap so worth spending an hour or two one day to explore.
