What option would you choose for stereo?

What option would you choose for stereo?
I am wanting to improve my stock Concert Stereo but have read that the rear speakers are direct drive set up so does that mean I cant just buy say a Sony and still it in? I have two options I am thinking of: [SIZE=3?[/SIZE]
Option one:
Buy an adaptor to plug in to the current Concert stereo thatwill give MP3, AUX, Bluetooth USB costing approx. £40
Option two:
Just buy a new head unit that includes the above but alsowith DAB and try and get red display to match, approximate cost £90
What would you do?
