I just bought an 04 A4 Avant 1.8T. It is missing the plastic cowl cover. I am going to be ordering one shortly, but I noticed this small tube flopping around. You can see it in this picture, right beside the positive terminal. Where does this tube go?

looks like the vent tube that goes to the battery. think it's supposed to get rid of potential vapors from the acid.

same - I understand the original batteries had the vent off the top. Current 'maintenance free' batteries do not have the vent anymore.
