2007 A4 2.0t Automatic Quattro, CEL, TC and EPC Lights ON
Hello fellow Audi brothers and sisters!
I hope one or all can help me. I bought a 2007 Audi A4 2.0T Quattro a few months back. It has 192k km on it.
I recently got the following done:
1)Replaced Timing Belt and Water Pump *out of pocket
2)Replaced Thermostat *out of pocket
3)Replaced Pressure Control Valve *recall
4)Replaced all 4 ignition coils *recall
5)Replaced Cam Follower *recall
6)Replaced High Pressure Pump *recall
7)Replaced Spark Plugs *out of pocket
8)Replaced CPS *out of pocket
Now here is a headache and a half...my car had starting issues (CPS fixed it for now as it had another starting issue but good the past 2 days), and also had some RPM fluctuation of +-250. All this time I was just frustrated when the car wouldn't start but now with the new CPS it is a lot better. However, yesterday I was driving and the check engine light, traction control, and EPC light came on. I got the CPS done the day before this. When this happened, my car could reach high speeds but its power was lacking and the gear changes seemed to stop at 4th gear until i shifted with the paddle shifts. Once i turned the Cruise control off, epc and traction lights went off but CEL is still on. Called my buddy at Audi, who has been working on my car, and he is just stumped as to all these issues my car is having. He says it can be the fuel injectors but advised to come in so he can scan. Problem is I am financially very tight and have spent some top dollar on this car. What are your opinions and self tests I can do to diagnose this. Any words of advise or help is much appreciated. I look forward to your replies.
