APR vs GIAC vs REVO software comparison with datalogs and dyno charts
#21
It could be your hardware failure that was causing MisFire or flashing CEL. Not just the software
reflash... You can't simply say APR tune caused it.... Perhaps, the IC was not as efficient as we thought and was causing "denotation" under load.... Or it may have been a problem with coilpack..... Could be either or both until you collect data/evidence...

Re: Interesting. If I read this correctly...
Not sure how open loop control works in these cars, but it's obvious GIAC isn't hitting it soon enough.
Based on THIS data, APR is the winner, but all kinds of things can happen in testing.
Still, I will be going with APR, this merely solidifies my decision.

APR 91 vs APR 93?
Thanks for the great write up. I suppose APR 93 would blow away all the others. The GIAC vs Stock is funny -- basically no gains plus they break your cruise control. Nice work!

Listen Dude, if they sale you a piece of hardware and one that controls some of the ECU's...
Functions in timing and boost, they better tell you or at least their dealers how to use some of that critical equipment.
Imagine Boeing or Airbus not telling the pilots how to use the onboard equipment on their airplanes.
I'm sorry to say but from what I see in the data logging and the dyno runs, the APR software is the best one here at this time.

Please tell me the last time Giac built a chip where he forgot to up the boost!
i'm not saying it was your fault, but the flash looks like you still have the stock set up. in almost any EC mag shootout, his cars dyno highest. there's something wrong with this dyno and it ain't his tuning. i have a fwd 6spd stick that only has the mellow file..........it spins thru 2nd now! stock did not.
