Can't open gas cap and door.
I have just purchased a 2006 A4Quattro. I can't get the fuel door to open. The trunk lid button works, the fuel door button doesn't. Yes, I can open it through the trunk. Any thoughts? Switch, actuator or???

Does the actuator actually function? Mine seems to like a long tug on the button.. Honestly I have no idea why Audi went to a button release. There was nothing wrong with the old system...

No, the actuator doesn't work, but it could be the button. I just was wondering if this was common. The trunk button works, so I could pull the door panel and switch the wires. That should tell me if it's the switch or the actuator.
