Car upshift way too early. Advise needed....
I got 2006 A4 2.0T quattro that I bough three months ago. I replaced the Cam Follower and the Cut off valve (there was no boost) as this is a common failure on the turbo two weeks ago.
However, even though teh performance is much better it seems like the automatic transmission up shifts way too early. It goes almost instantaneously into 2nd ger after start, shortly after in 3rd and by 30-35mph I am in 4th gear and up. There's no time for the turbo to spool the wal it should and bring that torque.
Wondering if anyone else has run into this issue. Whether the car need to 're-learn' the driving pattern with the new cut off valve or so? Any advice is appreciated. No fault codes for transmission nor turbo.
Thanks!
