Default Clean MAF

2003 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro

Hey guys I'm trying to see if anybody has a walk thru on how to clean my MAF. Car is running a little rough at idle and since I've never cleaned this, i figured it might be a good start.

Ive done all the searches and I've gotten back some results but it seems all the pictures have broken links on the walkthrus i have found. I need to see if anybody can help me with a DIY but with pictures. Any help would be appreciated guys. Thanks again.

It bothers me when people reply this way, but it is best if you Google it. There's plenty of info on that. A few words of caution: some have done this and ended up destroying the sensor, be careful. It's best to buy a new one. They aren't the cheapest parts. I don't recommend buying cheap ebay MAF, they are garbage from what I've read. ECS, europaparts, genuineaudiparts, Audi parts usa etc. Good luck.
