Hello all, this is my first post. I've done a lot of reading on these forums but this is my first post.

I have a Audi A4 2006 (sedan) and I recently went to replace the headlight, only to find out my used audi does not have the standard OEM bulb.

It seems there is some shrink tubbing around the bulb itself, and in looking at other pictures online it would appear i need a bulb with pigtail connections like picture below.




















any help would be very much appreciated.

I'm not an electrical expert, but it appears you after market xenon may require some wire cutting. Id remove the plastic shrink on the plastic end of that bulb and see what you got first. Maybe they connect there.

For the most part it doesn't seem to be a bad set up. I've seen complete hack jobs. So don't be disappointed.
