Question about brakes.
Not to familiar with AWD cars. I need to change my brakes and I know that i need to do all 4 of them. What i need to know is that when you go to buy the parts can you get front and rear for the car or do you need to purchase the AWD ones. Also how easy is it to change the brakes ( DIY ) I am familiar with doing it for other cars IE hondas chevy dodge and what not. I'm assuming it the same, but not sure if there are special tools i need. I'm sure this has been threaded before and I wouldnt ask if I could have found it already. If someone has a link that would be great as well. Thanks

Not hard if, like you said, you've done other cars. You need to pay attention to the brake cable on the rears.
There are pads for the front and rears separately. It all depends on your wear.
There are DIY's all over the internet.

yeah i mean i can look up youtube videos and i probably will when it comes time to get it done. I just wasnt to sure about the brake pads. I was seeing some that were AWD as well as the front and rear. Wasnt to sure how the sizes differ on a AWD car or if there was a difference at all. Thanks for the reply

For the rear brake job, you will need to rent the brake toolkit from O'Rielly or Auto-Zone, etc. That kit helps you press and turn the caliber simultaneously. There is no other way to do it.
