Default Rear Parking Sensor Stopped Beeping ! Any Ideas?

No more beeping when I shift into reverse or approach objects -- any thoughts?

Thanks

any help here? I would hate to take it in if it's something simple -- the fuse is good.

You should scan for fault codes. Do you have VAG-COM?

I'm no Rocket Surgeon but this might be a clue -- maybe it's just the chime (?) -- how can I find the location of it and part number?

Address 76: Park Assist Labels: 8E0-919-283-8E2.LBL
Controller: 8E0 919 283 D
Component: Parkhilfe 4-Kan H06 0010
Coding: 0001314
Shop #: WSC 06325
2 Faults Found:
01543 - Parking Aid Warning Chime (H15)
009 - Open or Short to Ground

this one popped up a lot in modules -- any concern here? ->

00466 - Control Module for Steering Column Electronics (J527)
004 - No Signal/Communication - Intermittent

Do you still need the chime module part number? There is a front and rear chime module with the same PN.

Common issue with the parktronic. The rear "buzzer" (as it is called by Audi) fails. Happened on my A6. The part itself is very cheap ($20) but getting to it requires removing a ton of stuff.

From night to day the buzzer sounds on the rear right passenger side, no longer on the left.
I am assuming there are two "chimes" or buzzers when you reverse.
Is this wrong?
