Default Service / maintenance schedule for 3.2 quattro

Hey everyone,

I'm new here, and was just wondering if anyone could point me to the latest version of the above?

I've found a few things online, and have my owners manual. However, I was told that Audi revised the service schedule later on, and I'd like to make sure I'm following the most accurate information.

I just bought the car about three months ago, and just hit 71k miles. It's saying that service is due, so I want to find out exactly what it needs.

TIA!

US site doesn't show B7 maintenance schedules now but the Canadian site still has them available - use the link above

Hey thanks a lot.

Do you know if the "updated" maintenance rumor I heard was correct? I think there was a large service due at like 60k that they said to do at like 90k instead or something?

Actually I think it would be the reverse - 175,000 km (110,000 miles) is recommended for the timing belt but most folks replace the timing belt at 130-140,000 km (90,000 miles); that's what I'm planning to do.

The Service Indicator Light/Msg is usually associated with the oil change; Audi recommends 15,000 km or yearly; many folks do 8000 km or siz monthly.

That's what it was - the timing belt.
Ok well thanks for your help!

Actually, I just noticed this at the bottom of the document you linked:

"At 110K miles (175km) replace timing belt (2.0 TFSI engine only)."

I thought I'd maybe heard that the 3.2 B7 had a timing chain instead of belt?

If you haven't already, clean the carbon buildup on the intake manifold. The 3.2l FSI engines are notorious for this, however it is not on the official Audi preventative maintenance schedule, but if left unchecked can ruin your engine. Also, make sure to check your cam tensioners, because thats what keeps your timing chain in check. Trust me, I had to replace my timing chain at 75k and it was not cheap. Enjoy the ride!
