Has anyone done this to their Audi A4 CVT FWD transmission??

Upgrading CVT transmission cooler with AN fittings and braided lines? I want to get rid of the factory cooler and replace it with a B&M cooler on the radiator.

Just to make sure I'm understanding you, you're question is regarding the plumbing extending out of the CVT's left/drivers side?

If so, don't. That's a hardline which houses an external one way bypass filter. You don't want to mess with it other than to replacing it - this should be done, I've read, every 40-70k miles. Why would you want to alter an already sensitive transmission with non OE parts? These things are especially reliant on fluid pressure so any altering is definitely a extremely bad idea.

It's ok I got sick of the **** automatic, sold it and got a manual car... Relieved to say the least..
