varying engine oil readings on dipstick
I've noticed an interesting thing with my 2.0TFSI.. the oil level is really hard to *accurately* measure. the difference in a few degrees of temperature, or in my case, upwards of 40c changes the reading on the stick dramatically. Example - I measured it warm last evenging, it was at the very top of the middle range. This morning, in the now 40f garage, it's halfway down that range. Anyone else who lives in cold areas noticed anything similar? I realize the dipstick isn't' the most accurate thing in the world, but I've never seen one be this random..
