Default 08 A4 2.0T premature timing belt break at 59k - major engine damage

My 2008 A4 2.0T with 59,000 miles just had the timing belt break and caused major engine damage. This was just 3k miles after Dealer did engine rebuild to fix oil consumption issue. Dealer - Schmitt's Audi in Buffalo NY, claims there was no cause for the belt break, "it just broke". Also claims the engine rebuild was unrelated to the timing belt break. Neither Dealer nor Audi USA willing to cover the repairs in ANY amount! It seems like they've covered the work for other people so I'm gathering info to take upstairs. I have sent countless emails, fb posts, tweets, letters to the President to no avail. Can't believe they aren't willing to provide even $1 to fix the premature belt failure, it's not supposed to be changed until 110k miles!!!!

The U.S. 2008 A4 is a B7 chassis. Your post should be placed in that forum instead of this one for the A4 B8. The U.S. 2009 B8 A4 2.0T (2008 for ROW) uses a timing chain, not a timing belt so your post won't garner much interest in this forum.
