12V outlet and cigarette lighter don't work - fuses are good
The power outlet and cigarette lighter are no more working.
The four 15a fuses rear the trunk panel are all good. Testing with a powermeter I have found no voltage directly on the fuse bank (of course with ignition on/off).
Recently I have replaced the battery with a non original item (replaced in a foreign country on vacation) This battery is a little bit more powerful.
This could be the sources of my problems?
I have no particular error on VCDS auto scan.
Any idea what I can check before to go to the dealer ?
Thanks !
Best regards
Gab
On a forum i have found this information, what do you think ?
If they doesen't work with ingnition on, then you should go to your dealer and ask about tsb number 2020649/8, there is an update for j393 unit that fixes this issue.

Followig the TBS 2020795/6
I confirm: The sockets can be activated via the Outup Diagnostic test (VCDS)

Can you describe what you did in the Output Diagnostic Test Mode? I have the same issue with all sockets/lighter not working. Sounds like this was a fault in the control module that you are able to reset via VCDS (as opposed to it being a relay fail)??
Thanks!
Thanks!
