Hey all, New Audi owner here looking for some insight!

Just picked up a 2010 Audi A4 Quattro 2.0T with 50k miles.
so far the car is great, and a perfect maintenance record can be seen on the carfax.

I'm very aware of the known oil consumption issues on this model, and see no evidence of the problem at this time. At what mileage are most people beginning to see the problem? Being the 3rd owner of this car am I out of luck if an issue does arise?

I've also been looking into some performance mods for this vehicle, any reccomendation on where to start? i plan to upgrade to NGK plugs and r8 coils. Maybe an APR stage one tune?

any other insight you may be able to offer to a new Audi owner?
I appreciate anything you may be able to offer.

I am also a new owner, a 2009 A4 2.0T Cabriolet. It has 70,000 miles and no sign of oil consumption. I think your car fax perfect maintenance record is a good indication that you will have few problems. But, the oil consumption issue is pretty much a crap shoot, although I did read that Audi has a list of VIN numbers of the production models which are likely to have oil issues. I did not try to find out as i guess I really do not want to know. :-)
The APR Stage I upgrade sounds great; I intend to see an authorized APR dealer this week.
