Default 2010 Audi a4 2.0t don't start

Went to check out a car from a ad online the people are selling for a pretty good price the car is just making a clicking sound when trying to start it, it says ignition is on, on screen. But the sound doesn't sound like it is coming from the starter I know its a very vague description but any help is greatly appreciated

Sounds like you should leave that one to someone with the skills an knowledge to figure out the problem. No way to diagnose something like that over the internet without a lot more information.

If the seller is not willing to get the car started I would walk away. So many things could be wrong including a failed timing chain tensioner. They obviously know something big is wrong with it if they already adjusted the price for it. Why can't they tell you?
