2014 A4 & Carista OBD adapter. Failed to check fault codes.
Hello All,
Just did detailed scan with Carista OBD adapter,
No faults
only one concern with the fallowing:
Transmission
Part #: 8K0927158T
Component: 0BK 20TFSIUSA
Coding: 000002 (hex)
[Failed to check fault codes]
How to read this message?
Is this normal?

There was an issue with that in our previous version. As of today, we've launched v2.5 for Android (iOS update coming up too). What version are you using? If the new version doesn't fix the issue, please go into "DETAILED INFO" and when it's done, open the slide-out menu from the left and pick "Report a problem".

I just received my OBD adapter today and it works well! I am using an Android by the way.
Is there a way to stop the sunshade on my A4 Avant from opening/closing with the sunroof when I use the remote window open/close feature? This happens on my Q5 and Q3 as well and would really like a fix, as this function takes by far the longest. Also, it is weird to me that there are convertible top options for the A4 and Q5 (There was never a B8 cabriolet!).

Hi Dan, we released the new version last week. Please let me know if you can now successfully check for faults in all ECUs. Thanks.
There was indeed a B5 cabriolet! The A5/S5/RS5 convertible
About the roof sunshade: we don't have that as an option for the B8 in the app yet, but it's likely that we'll be able to add it. We just added it for some VW models, so we'll see what we can do.
