So I'm in the market for a 2014 A4. I'm in Canada so looking for one with Technik Package, S-Line, etc.

I've seen different steering wheels on different cars, however, they're all 2014. What does everyone have? Did Audi change steering wheels mid-year?

I'd like this one:



Partially perforated. S-Line badge. This is exactly like what we have in a 2014 Q5, but I've also seen these:



No perforations. No S-Line badge.

What gives?

2014 A4 in USA has the 4 spoke standard: http://image.automotive.com/f/2014_a...ring-wheel.jpg

Even "S-Line" which in 2014 was just exterior plastic trim. Now if you get the "Sports" package they came with the 3 Spoke perforated wheel: also sport seats and stiffer sports suspension.

You can always buy a new steering wheel if you want to splurge.

No I get the standard wheel and option for 'Sports Package' interior.

What I'm saying is that equally equipped, some 2014's I've seen have come with different flat bottom steering wheels, as shown in my OP. I'm just curious as to why there are different S-Line 'Sports Package' flat bottom steering wheels for 2014 model A4s.

I have the same interrogation about that. My first one had perforated leather with the slind badge and my second 2014 didnt have it only flat bottom with straight leather. I ask the question at audi canada and they had no response and i ask at the dealer and they said its random.....I say WHAT random .....incredible for a prestigious company like that. But now im really dissapointed to had cheaper version ....my first one is crash in a big truck....
