A4 MMI first freezes and then restarts
I just took my car to be checked and have been told that whole MMI needs replacing which is about 2400 pounds - is this normal?
are there no alternative options?

I managed to get into software version detail and it said NULL.
I was thinking they could just update the software but dealership says it can't be done and whole mmi needs replacing
I am not believing for some reason that this could be the issue
